On this page:
Welcome
Creation Care Resource.com is the idea of the Creation Care Community Consultation - a group of people and organizations who care about God's creation. We wanted to provide a place where everyone could contribute and share information about how to be better stewards of God's Creation. With technology available today, we can reach anyone who has access to the web with the content that is on this site. This lets people from all over the world who want to contribute or read what others have contributed, join together in a single place. Some of what you see on this site is available on other web sites around the world. However, here, this content is indexed, and grouped with other information that will hopefully help you learn about and appreciate the world that God has given us.
This site is built using a "Wiki". Without getting too deep into what makes this site do what it does, the technology we are using allows us to build an on-line community. A more detailed description wiki technology is at the page What is a Wiki?.
Anyone can join this community. As a participant, you can choose to read any of the content or you can contribute an article on this site. If you have written a scholarly paper or essay about creation care, if you have preached a sermon on creation care, if you have a list of ideas or experiences about living a "creation care centered life" or if you are an organization who wants to post a profile on this site, go ahead and do it. We welcome and encourage professionals and students alike to contribute content.
Our job as the editors of this site are to create and maintain the "community infrastructure" so that you can participate and improve the value of the community. Each of us may participate by contributing items but you, as a member of this community have the rights and responsibility for the content on this site. (Of course, we may at some time make a decision to remove or reorganize content but we don't want to or anticipate that we will have to use this capability very often).
As the editors, what we can say is thank you for participating.
We welcome your comments sent to info -at- careofcreation.org

What Is This Site?
This site is a community / on-line magazine for people looking to share information or read information relating to a God centered view of caring for His creation — the environment we live in. Unlike a traditional printed magazine, it is in "constant publication", has no deadlines and is produced by those who read and contribute. Why Was It Developed?
To bring together all of the many small organizations that had sprung up around the topic of creation care as well as individuals who have something to share about Creation Care. Hopefully, with a community resource, we can realize the efficiency of sharing information in one place rather than keeping many copies of it in many places.Who Can Participate and Contribute?
Anyone can join. As with many Wiki based, on-line communities, all your work is subject to comment by other members of the community. Your postings and activities can also be "watched" by any other member of the community. You will have the same privilege if you so choose. This site does have an editorial board and an editorial policy which reviews content to make sure that it supports the goal of the magazine. We rarely expect to have to exercise our responsibilities of editing or removing content but, if we have to, we will make every attempt to notify you and discuss our position. What if I have questions?
For now, send an e-mail to info -at- careofcreation.orgReturn to the HomePage
